Procedure description

Project leader Inria

The standardised platform and the implemented use cases will be exploited to perform in-silico trials. Simulations corresponding to real measurements will be ran to quantify the realism of the in-silico results.

This work will also leverage recent advances in data science to explore the richness of the data generated to explore the richness of the data generated by the simulations. This will lead to the discovery of new and more relevant indices for evaluating medical device design or drug efficacy/toxicity.

Course of action

  1. Running of in-silico trials for each of the selected use case. This will enable to evaluate the in-silico results with respect to acquired data.
  2. Proposition of more advanced statistical analysis of the data generated by the in-silico trials, leveraging recent advances in data science (deep learning, variational autoencoders…) to explore whether new features and methods could reveal a better use of the simulations and potentially discover new biomarkers.
